Bursaries are income assessed. Whose income is assessed is dependent on a number of factors. It may be just your own income, or it may also include parents or partners.
The NHS will also pay your tuition fees. THIS IS NOT INCOME ASSESSED. This is applied for on the same form as the bursary.
There is a rough bursary calculator although it is aimed at students who will be applying through the English site.
We are all entitled to apply for the non-income assessed part of the loan. This is true even if you have done a degree before!

NB If you are from Scotland or Northern Ireland, you will apply for everything through the same site, there is not a mistake with the links! 🙂
